In the homes of high achieving children, the academic climate of the home meshes with the academic climates found in their schools. Together they generate a series of beliefs, attitudes, skills, and motivations that lead to higher achievement of many kinds.”
—The Educational Research and Testing Service, December 2007

“Achievement Synchrony” is an incredible program that improves student performance, helps parents know exactly how to help their school, and is an amazing support to teachers. Achievement Synchrony works by creating a parent–teacher partnership that focuses on structuring the classroom and home so ALL students clearly understand expectations. This has proven to help students perform at higher academic and social levels. This synchrony helps children focus on and understand class and family goals, how their actions affect others, and most importantly, how to be successful and achieve more in the classroom and at home.

When we think of improving education, many think in terms of increased funding or reducing class size. While these may help some of the time, additional funds are not always available, reducing class size often is not possible, and the benefits are frequently short term. Creating an achievement synchrony makes improving achievement easier and faster with long-term benefits. In fact, it has been proven when teachers and parents create an achievement synchrony, class size, type and cultural make-up become less relevant and entire classes come together and are able to perform at higher levels.

Schools using this system experience an average of 5% academic improvement in the first year and a 50% reduction in conduct problems in the first month. For schools working to meet NCLB AYP requirements, 5% improvement in one year is outstanding.
